Could it be Surinam Airways, they have just started a A340 operation?

Could be CX.
Most likely CX.
Cheers

it's Surinam Airlines (SLM)

CX currently operates B744 on HKG-AMS, and does not hire FD staff via PARC

Regards.

Could be Surinam or Hi Fly.
I read or heard somewhere that Surinam returned their A340 and Wet Leased the one from Hi Fly to do their flights from Amsterdam.

SLM's Airbus still needs to be certified and put on Surinam registration. In the meantime HiFly is operating the route Amsterdam-Paramaribo indeed. But this is only for a short while, since the SLM a340 should be operating within hopefully 2 weeks.
I heard that they hired a couple of a340 captains via an agency, so perhaps the same for the F/O positions?

SLM could be right. They had one Arckefly 767 operating for them to deal with the overbookings due to the change to an A340. CX doesn´t hire via PARC.

Parc's website states that the contract is for 3 months.
So I am almost sure this must be for SLM. Assuming SLM's 743 crews are going to transition to the airbus, these 3 months contracts must be to cover for this training period.

Any applicants around? Must be nice going down to PBM a couple of times!
