Hi all

Blue Air have just this month opened up LCA (Larnaca, Cyprus) as a crew base guys. A big up from Bucharest for sure...

Blue Air is a !!!!ty company.. go around, go around.

LCA base will open the next 27 march and no accomodation provided.. you are on your own.. salary is always late and expect the typical comunist attitude there.. they should drive donkeys not airplanes.. maintenance in poor conditions.

Do you consider this a good atitude? I bet you are a frustrated Romanian guy. Blue Air si not the best , but , definitely is NOT THE WORST experience you can have !
I really do not know your personal experiences with Blue Air (could be interesting if you can share with us , if any) , but MINE is ok.
About their expansion : in the next 1-1,5 years , their old B737-300 and -400 will be replaced with 3 x 2007 or younger B737-800 . Starting with end of 2011 , the new B737-800 aircrafts will join their fleet . So , despite more other companies in Eastern Europe , they are moving forward.
About the payments : NEVER , in my experience , the payments from JOR (Blue Air) didn not delay more than 30 days , and per diem were paid precisely in time.
