Clipper400 - I may have missed something here. Did I suggest that the SXF guys were anything other than good or reasonable people? By all means disagree with anything I have said, but please do not argue over something that was not said. I would suggest for easyJet pilots reading this that the appropriate place to discuss the details of the SXF situation is not here but rather the private forum.
Other than that, I believe that easyJet will recruit differently in the future and that this will be good news for the numerous highly qualified pilots who have been sat there waiting their chance to join us. |
Superced was representative of a small but vocal minority at easyJet who have hated every single company they have ever worked for. His recruitment by easyJet was an enormous error of judgement and I am absolutely delighted he has left to another company he will come to hate and despise too. With the notable exception of the Berlin-based pilots, who have their own particular battle with the company that shows no signs of ending, you will find few pilots at easyJet these days who hate the company |

Hello everyone,
Can somebody shed some light on the new terms and conditions for the flexicrew pilots. I heard somewhere that you will be offered a permanent contract after 18 months as a flexicrew. Also, does pay, hours per year flown, roster, pension and time to command vary dramatically between the different countries when permanent? I've found two different factfiles on ppjn(easyJet UK and easyJet spain). Where can I find more information regarding the different local contracts for france, italy and germany? Many thanks PS. Please feel free to send me a pm |

Black and Brown not 100% true.
I believe the flexicrew guys out in France on the parc contract are on a fixed pattern roster and are getting an extra €10/block hour over the guys in the UK. And regarding time to go permanent, the threshold to apply was 500 factored hours which a new cadet could easily get in 7-8 months. True mainly European bases have been offered, but some UK bases have been offered and once in the 'system' you can put yourself on the waiting list and I know some of those who wished to come back to LGW have been offered a transfer back after spending only 6 months in their 'chosen' European base. |
BlackandBrown, a couple of months ago, everyone that was flexicrew that had operated for easyJet for at least 18 months was offered a UK base on a permanent easyJet contract (unless they had already taken a permanent contract abroad of course).

A peculiar choice of words to say I am not 100% correct and then only offer what you believe ie not know. I am speaking with regards to ctc flexicrew when I speak. In the initial 8 months people have had an sxf basing because it isn't by the hour. Once on flexicrew people have taken temporary 2-3 month Basings in Paris for example with hotel accommodation provided, a fixed pattern roster and a guaranteed minimum hours.
The people who took Basings abroad and are heading back to the uk but there aren't many. Some who were special enough to get uk bases are heading abroad too so like lady gaga it goes both ways. Epsilonvaz I know you aren't correct, the operative words in their schpeel were 'all that were suitable were offered Permanant contracts' . And the 18 months bit was the lowest number they could use to make the sell - it doesnt mean anything. I am not one of them as I took an abroad base but I can right the second think of 20 who still dont have a permanent job. I am not bitching about it, I'm just giving the facts. |
Hi guys. Any idea when easyjet will start recruiting again? Things seem to be pointing towards September time however unsure how reliable my sources are. Just wondering if anybody had any more reliable information in regards to dates and pilots required, etc. Thankyou.

they will certainly recruit, but not you?
why should they ?when thousand are ready to pay them? get real, nobody will pay you as long pilots pay their employers!:ugh: pilots are the most idiot people on earth in my point of view. we should cut the hands of each P2F pilots.for me ths is like stealing! |
