Latest Pay Deals

Anyone got this year pay award agreed yet and willing to share.

We are still waiting on ours and would be interested to see what everyone else is getting?

I work for a well known irish airline at a uk base No pay rise for 3 years and counting- and that includes sector /flight pay as well

retrosgone 21st Jan 2011 12:17

Jet 2 are paying 2.5% on basic, and 20% on sector pay. Works out at roughly 3.5% on gross income.

RPI for ex pilot....

In April 2011, basic state pension is to rise in line with the retail prices index (RPI), rather than the consumer prices index (CPI). This gives a 4.6% increase, rather than 3.1%. The lower rate will be used for other state benefits for 2011.

I hear at Cathay HKAOA are hanging out for 30% but have only been offered 15. Anyone wish to confirm?

Bluebaron 22nd Jan 2011 19:21

I heard Vigin were pitching 35% find it hard to believe.

Having just been told my pension is too be cut by 40% and another 5 years added to my LoS, i'm would like hope large pay rises can in some way compensate.

Tarisio 1st Feb 2011 08:30

Thomson offering 2.7% on salary and duty pay etc. Rejected by Balpa.

Any news from Thomas Cook, Monarch etc?

Any news from Thomas Cook
Thomas Cook pilots are tied into a 4 year pay deal signed in 2009, basically a 3 year pay freeze then RPI +2% in 2012. Thanks BALPA :yuk:

So the next pay negotiations will be in 2013.

bmi gets the 4.57% deferred from 2009. That was the final year of a three year deal agreed in 2006. Previous management confirmed that they would honour deal in Dec 2008 and then changed their mind the night before salary's were deposited. Some pilots had money removed from their accounts.

I understood Monarch had a 10% pay cut, but that is only hear say. Perhaps the Flybe pay deal may not be such a bad deal after all, reading the above posts.

Lord Spandex Masher 1st Feb 2011 18:54

Nope, they're all bad deals.

Math´s

Lookes like a wide trend: Revenue goes up + profit goes up + share holder value goes up = Employees pay stays the same or even goes down. Time to do something and start to not accept that.

On the similar subject I talked to PARC recently and did of course heared not anything back since, you wonder? As long as people go for it why bother brother ?

2.7% of a Thomson FO salary (rejected) is about £500 per month rise more than 3% of a flybe FO salary.

The flybe pay offer is crap regardless.

MANTFS 1st Feb 2011 21:24

Monarch Pilots did not take a 10% pay cut last year

Fredairstair 1st Feb 2011 23:19

It's three (3) extra years to your LOS BlueB. Do pay attention! ;)

Good thread to start by the way.

Bluebaron 2nd Feb 2011 08:44

Fred,

Quite right 3 years for me 5 years for others.

Anyone know what BA are getting/offered?

Fg Off Kite 2nd Feb 2011 09:11

BALPA Pay rise?

I wonder how much of your money the BALPA reps have awarded themselves?

Give yourself a 1% pay rise and ditch them!!:ok:
