Chautauqua (US Air Express): 12/month guaranteed (11 for reserve lines). Average 15/month. Top 5 lines for each base ( 7 bases) have 17-18 days off; bottom 5 lines have 12-13 off. Average of 80 hours flying per line. My line in May: 17 off with
84 hrs flying.

If anyone care

Fugro Airborne Surveys:
Basically 2 months in the field, 1 month off (at home).

In details, your recuperation time will be:
1 day of time-off for each weekend day or statutory holiday spent on the field.
Plus 2 weeks (up to 5 if more than 12 years in the company) of annual vacation.

Eurogatwick RJ100 (same for 737):

Guaranteed min 10 days off every month (Feb 9) This month I managed to score 13 days off.

42 days leave a year and we get three wraparound days to choose to have either at the beginning or end of each 7 day block. On a 14 day block you get three either side. These wrap days obviously come out of your 10 days off in a month.

Also get any extraordinary bank holidays (such as this year's jubilee) awarded at some point in the year.

SAS (Scandinavian Airlines)
13 days off a month on avg. One month it can be 12, but then the following month has to have 14.
42 days annual leave + extra vacation pay.

:( BRITISH EUROPEAN

8 days off as per usual, 2 of which can be single days off and around 70 hours flying with maybe 60 sectors, £1.58/hr duty pay and awful crewfood with no pay rise for nearly 3 years.

Hi to all,

Olympic Airways:
Vacation 30/40/45 days, depending of the years in the company.
during a month 10 days off.

kiwi1 28th May 2002 16:58

BMI, LHR, A320/1 10 off per 28 day roster, 42 days leave per yr. (as 6, 1 week blocks) Wraparound days can be requested around the leave, and are usually given. Standby prob. averages 4-6 days/28 and is a real pain, Oh for reserve lines !

21 Days annual leave per year.

erjdriver 6th Jun 2002 23:02

So our European collegues have fewer days off per month. But how many nights do you spend at home? If you fly as many hours as we (yanks) do, and have fewer days off, there must be an added bonus somewhere.

Denti 7th Jun 2002 14:46

This month 62 block hours planned, at least 76 block hours payed, 45 sectors, 13 off-days and only one overnight. In the last months i flew about 50-60 hours with none to one overnight per month, 12 to 13 days off and around 45 sectors. So i pretty much stay home all the time.
