B737 Simulator Instructor Pay?
Could anyone provide the average industry pay that an experienced current 737 SIM instructor are getting at this time? What is the range for hour and or day rates for transition and proficiency instruction given by an approved instructor working ad hoc for a JAA TRTO or FAA PART 142 Training Center?

Flight Safety Boeing was paying $40.00 per hour as of last year. Usually made a 4 hour sim session into an 8 hour min day for pay purposes. I've seen figures between $240.00 and $400.00 per day for other outfits.

In the UK its usually around £325 to run a check flight in a 73 sim, straight instructor duties are around £250. Most training centres though have full time staff on annual salaries which are usually competitive with the airlines.
