Question Job sharing

My airline's new pilot employment agreement has provision for the future introduction of a job-share system. It is up to the group of interested pilots to present a proposal for consideration by management.

With no previous experience of how this scheme should work, I would be interested to hear from any pilots who currently job-share, or have done so previously, as to the conditions which apply. eg:

- Shared roster, or month on/month off ?
- How much is relinquished to compensate the company for the additional costs of maintaining 2 pilots for 1 job (Manuals, Jepps, Sim, recurrent training, etc)

Any comments pro or con job sharing would be appreciated.

Why don't you ask these guys if they'd be interested?

Probably not.
