Easy Jet A-319 Recruitment.

Does anyone know when Easy is accepting CVs from A-320 rated pilots ? And where would the interwievs be held ?
Is the Geneva base a separate division of Easy or will it be under the same flight operation management in Luton ?

They accept an on-line-application, do not answer for a while, invite you for a "Roadshow" one day in advance, send you some information about a new recruitment process, notify you about another roadshow.....and so on. Seems, they donīt really need rated pilot for the aircraft they ordered.

they will need A319 people, but probably about 24hrs before they arrive. Seems to be the industry norm these days

Angel

I'm sure if you write them a nice letter they will employ you with a full salary while they wait for the arrival of new aircraft, given that they are so desperate for your services.

What a boon it is to a low cost airline to know there are applicants of your calibre available.

Whenever you are ready please let us know and we will roll out the orange carpet.

Engee73, they don't even employ people with a full salary after they start. If it's full of guys like you, a brown carpet would be more appropriate.

The orange life stinks, IMO you'll probably have more fun nailing your scrotum to the floor.

What I heard was they would start recruiting in August for the A319's....
Where I don't know. But best guess will be normal London Luton HQ. Since only the first 6 Busses or so will go to Geneva...

Question

Do you need to be Airbus rated or will they accept non Airbus rated pilots as well?
Regarding the large number of pilots Easy will/might need...

As usual you can expect that a rating will not be necessary but suitable candidates with a rating will not be ignored.

Expect the first busses to fly in the UK ex LGW from Feb 2004.
