Guernsey Resident - UK based Airline?
Hi All,
Are there any folks out there that are Guernsey resident who work for a UK based airline?
If so, could anybody tell me how you deal with 'commuting' to your place of work, i.e. how does your rostering allow for it, is this state of living only recommendaed (if at all) for longer-haul pilots with increased time off duty (am I correct in this assumption).
Any help / feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Well there's a freight airline that delivers your post, newspapers and car parts every day of the week right on your doorstep. They have a couple of collaborators working for them who fly on the airbus fleet in europe and commute back via the daily f27, so it can be done. They work a week away, have a couple of days back on fragle rock then do another few days away. Depends what u want and more importantly what type rate u have.
