No,no specific operator 767,just want to know average figures to be sure what and how to negotiate.Ivory coast and Nigeria are of the most interest but all the mates working in west Africa can bring up their figures..

A bit of a sidestep
If the company is based in Congo (Brazzaville) or Benin you can safely assume that they will promise you the moon from the sky and end up getting shafted. IŽd rather "Take A Cab" or "Take A Bus" that work for those 2 companies.
A couple of pointers.
1.Have a contract, not that it means anything but it will make you feel better.
2. Have the contract specify all details such as salary , per diem, Accomodation (Single or shared), Travel and ticket reimbursement, uniforms, medicals, insurance, proficiency checks etc...
3. Get your salary paid mid month to your account. Make sure that you get wire transfer slip from the company and that you are able to check you account balance on the web. Do not accept large payments in cash especially in US Dollars. If you do make sure that you can check the bills and transfer money out immediately. It is not unheard of to get mugged by some pri.ck when walking to your housing only to be paid by the same bills a month later.
4. Make sure that you are in good terms with Customs and Immigration so that you can get a exit visa when required.
5. Preferably have a return ticket paid and sent to you by the company.
6. Find out about the operator before you go and see what people think about them.
Cheers
