PrivatAir question??

Hi all,
I'm just asking this questions for a friend of mine who might be able to join PrivatAir in the coming months.
Is it a wise thing to quit a rather good airliner for PrivatAir, with the war in Iraq? What about their contracts with Lufthansa on the business lines to ORD, EWR and JFK? As the idea is to be based in Dusseldorf to be close to home, how sure is it that the operations for some of these long haul flights stay in Dusseldorf, or can Lufthansa change the routes PrivatAir flies for them? Any other information which I am not thinking about right now is welcome off course..
