CATHAY PACIFIC SECOND OFFICER? Any S/o´s here?
Dear Guys,
147 pilots have just lost their jobs in Brazil including me and i am searching jobs.Does anyone know anything about this new contract with Cathay for Second Officers and as well the same for expat first officer flying for China Airlines,work conditions,salary,etc.

I think this should be put elsewhere.
I sympathise with you for losing your job, however 49 (?) pilots at CX were summarily sacked last year, and there is, or has been a worldwide blacklisting of CX as an employer by ALL pilot unions.
I imagine you may get less civil answers to your questions by others on here.....
If the 49 pilots are re employed, then go for it! Up till then I would steer clear as your life will be very lonely over there I imagine.
