Norwegian B737 Non-Type rated 2024

Good-morning everybody,

I have one question regarding the Experienced Non Type-Rated First Officer job ad currently on Norwegian website.
Is the type-rating bonded or self-sponsored?
Of course, any info about T&C is always welcome.

Thank you all in advance!

All I can say is that they cancelled my assessment for December due to ‘Due to a temporary decrease in crew demand’
That’s what they told me. But apparently people from the company told me that in some bases there are not enough copilots.
Anyway, good luck! I hope your assessment goes better than mine

Yes, we were lucky at least haha but anyway it seems strange because they’re short of pilots but I guess in January-February we’ll be contacted again

Unfortunately Boeing keep pushing back aricraft deliveries. Most upgrade/instructor courses are either cancelled or postponed indefinately.

There will be positions for both rated and non-rated FO's next year, but as mentioned, it's all up to Boeing how many...

Looks like they have a holding pool. If I’m not wrong it means that they will call who they want when they need. Is it correct?

Anyway, does someone have info about possible bases, roster, salary, etc….

Thanks!

most bases are 5/4 cph base has the best pay but is also the most wanted. riga base the worst. generally there is big pay gap between fo under 1500h and above. spain base need to go part time for 5 months during winter. no self employment.

Thanks a lot! That’s interesting.

With 1500 hrs you mean as total experience or in the company?
