TUS Airways /Cyprus (so-called recruitment).
TUS Airways (so-called recruitment for just 3 airplanes).
We all know what is going on with Golden visas in Cyprus as well as the level of corruption there (Al Jazeera Investigations / The Cyprus Papers Undercovered).
Now this: On 05/NOV/21 positions for flight crew (CP 320/330 and FO 320/330) were announced ONLY on their FB page (nowhere else) and with a deadline 31/NOV/21. They didn’t even publish the available positions on their official website. You could apply only by sending an email with the related documentation to recruitment dpt. email address.
Shortly afterwards cabin crew positions were also announced.
Check their FB page: from 14/09/21 and until 19/11/21 NO posts. They removed these posts which were related to that particular recruitment.
2 months later (towards the end of December 27/12/21) and ONLY for commercial purposes (for pure advertising) they started publishing these positions on LPJ and other career sites and for an extended period of time –for almost 2 months-. Also for the first time they announced these positions on their official web site (same procedure: apply via sending an email to recruitment dpt.). Later on instead of requesting emails to be sent to recruitment you had to fill in an online application.
Now the things become more interesting… When you completed your application you had 6 questions to answer in order to send your application. Among them the following 2:
Have you ever been convicted of a criminal offence linked to the position you are applying for?
And
Do you suffer from mental/physical illness, in any way linked to the position you are applying for?
When you answered the above questions with NO then the SUBMIT button didn’t let you send your application and the message from onlinerecruitment.exelsyslive:
(If yes please specify: This field is required) X 2 for the 2 out of 6 questions.
So with NO the system was programmed to ''read'' that input as yes requesting: If yes please specify… (the NO counted as YES and the YES of course as YES).
So in any case NO or obviously with YES that means auto-disqualification!!
Of course the positions (although wasn’t stated) were only for Cypriots.
Do the investors and upper management know about these disgusting practices?
What are the standards of the new airline?…. Cypriot-Colombian maybe?
