Sky Express (Air Crete-GQ ) fake A320 interview ?
I have received the following message from Sky Express Flight Standards Department on 06/10/20 (not addressed to me directly with my name-just " Dear Sir , “she No phone # , No contact name, just the Sky Express logo at the end of the email) and I attended an interview of just 10' min.... 3 days later... (for the position of A320 FO) like everybody else. Yes, 10' minutes and 3 days notice , so I believe that it was a fake-procedural interview -recruitment. There is also a rumor that most of the pilots hired are from Orange2Fly (OTF)...preselected before the interviews . Most of the interview was a presentation of the company and in order to be more specific they ask if I would be happy with NO stable schedule, Max duty, NO summer vacations, 6-sectors / day most of the times, roster published only for 7-10 days in advance .... all year round non stop (3 years contract). Also they asked me with how much money I would be satisfied ? When I said 3000-4000 E PM net as a Min....they were shocked ! (rumors say: 1500 E max for A320 FO and 3000+ E for Cpt for MAX duty PM !). It would be very interesting if someone provides a real...real ....contract or give us more details !
The technical part lasted less than 5' min.....asking "Kindergarden" type of question.... LIMitations , FMA, and when the engine becomes secured ? (no damage case). There was NO deep system questions or any effort to discover the candidate's level or candidate's personality (no personal-situational questions).I came 40 ' min earlier so 4 candidates went ahead of me...each of us was given 10' min. I attended the second day of phase 1 (10/10/20) because from the security I learnt that they had also interviews the day before-on Friday and that they will also have the day after-Sunday 11th. The captain-candidate who was just before me, left the room angry and upset. When my turn came.....They (panel of 3-did not even mention their names) told me in a rude-abrupt way to remove my mask and to say my name and the position which I applied for. There was no welcome part...... !
From the other pilots I met there and from the people I know ,nobody took a position (FO or Cpt) nobody that I know or my friends know... ! All of us , senior A320F FO or A320F captains ! They didn't even bother to send a "thank you" email to those participated in the interview process with the result. Also the fact that only 3 days notice was given, says a lot....! What if someone was outside Greece for example or having other issues?
A procedural - fake interview according to the facts ?
After my negative experience, I have no doubts about why so many accidents and incidents occur in this company (they even manage to went off the RWY while backtracking-ATR 42 in Naxos island- and make 3......yes 3 gear collapses on LNDG> 1in Rhodes island and 2 in Crete !)
If you read...AVH....and you also see the pix ...you will think that you read a cartoon ...a comic....!
...and the story goes on and on.......continues....Requires only time to read.
(It is aslo worth noticing that the comments and the feedback from their passengers-customers are highly negative most of the times)
Generally in Greece there is huge corruption in ANY level.....take the example of " Noor 1 " ship case and you will understand ....
If it wasn't covid-19 and all its side effects, I wouldn't even consider the possibility to go there !

The presence is mandatory for all candidates.
Location: Athens International Airport, Building 23, 2nd floor, Room 244, at XX:XX LT. (have deleted the time)
The successful candidates of Phase 1 will participate to the Phase 2 of pilot assessment.
-Phase 2, 13th 14th, 15th of October 2020: Flight training device examination.
Location &Time: Further information regarding the location and the time of the training device examination will be sent by email.
Please confirm your availability to participate, by replying to this email, no later than 08.10.2020.

Similar information was passed to me from a friend who attended this joke (eeee, interview process I mean). Good luck to them. And as for O2F, they have had their own share of incidents from what I see in AH and other similar sites.

I just applied for ATR Chief pilot or deputy training manager according to job offer on their website. But after personal interviews with CEO and later on with hiring team . No chief pilot or deputy manager position..only captain.
I told them I didn't apply for captain position.
I guess these job offers as chief pilot or deputy training manager are just a trap to attract experienced captain
