Yes, its a bit unrealistic and to good to be true. Maybe if we have current crew around here, they can shad some light on the new update on pjn.

Anyone has more precise infos and an overview of the roster ?
10 days off per month? Are you expected to have a life outside the airplane? Or are the trips Monday to Friday, with Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday spent at an all-inclusive resort?

“French Bee pilots are tired, even exhausted and out of breath for some, as their workload is heavy and management-imposed schedules are unsustainable. In addition, this work rate is combined with excessively long absences from home, which are, physically and morally, very difficult for the pilots to live with”. To this fatigue is added the demoralization born from the fact that the management has not taken into account this worrying situation “which is pushing a large number of pilots to leave the company. The situation of shortage of personnel is getting worse and further accentuates the problem of the fatigue of the pilots”.

how is the roster now or expected to be ? Any hiring soon?

Days Off

Anyone knows the minimum and typical number of days off a month?
According to PJN there is a "back to back" roster for commuters. Wondering how many days off you get between rotations. Thanks

I guess you can expect min rest in between as PPJN refers to simple night stop.

To clarify I'm asking for days off at home not during the "back to back" segment.

Minimum 10 days off, however it depends on the season, normally you have more days off, as long as for french law you will have around 40 days vacation you can distribute and get more “days off” every month or to manage them as you want…the B2B is a very good tool from the company, they offer to you, if you want you take it, for example; you operate EWR flight 24h, on the way back you stay at the Orly Hotel paid by the company and the day after you fly to RUN for the normal 36h layover, after all this 2 rotations(around 7 days) most probably you will get 5-7 days off
without B2B you would operate EWR and then you will have 2 days off, then RUN flight.
Therefore for commuters is a very good options in order to save time.
You chose!
Days btw rotations is depending roster/planning but accepting B2B is helping a lot for your days off, you can have sometimes 4-7 days off and another week 3-6…there is nothing written, its long haul ops

Minimum 10 days off, but normally you have more, sometimes 15-17 days off(some if them blank days) without holidays… its a very good stable planning

Actually with the new CEO, the situation has been changed a lot, first the biggest cancer of the aviation, the DFO Lu…A… has been fired at the beginning of the year, very good news for the french bee atmosphere and the crew health, secondly the Training manager(S.G.) resigned, curiously…safety department is getting less “police department” and applying the real Just Culture slowly but constantly…
So the new CEO came with many positive changes, new DFO is the opposite of the previous, new Training manager is fair and not complaints,
atmosphere has been improved a lot…
Still one curious negative point when they decided to nominate as chief pilot a new captain without experience, lying with his linkedln profile(yrs as a cpt, yrs working in FBU, yrs as a FO) to justify the position…
Salaries has been improved accordingly
The happiness is slowly recovering thanks to the new management
