Been in this situation before, as I am sure many of us with any significant time spent in this industry. Sympathy to all those affected. Not the best time of the year to be job hunting, but thankfully everyone is typed on something useful and the job market is still very buoyant .

I have watched their development with interest as I had a couple of ex colleagues there, and always thought it had the air of a plan that would either soar high or crash and burn, just moving along smoothly never seemed a likely outcome.

It was only a matter of time. Hiring in other Airlines aircraft to fly the Atlantic doesn't come cheap. Often happens at end of summer - been there read that book.
