Question Will consolidation better TC's

With the potential takeover of Norwegian and Carsten Spohrs comment about future consolidations within Europe help us in the industry with our terms and conditions?

It seems that a lot of people are looking at the next big thing to join, some diskussions about leaving BA for LCC and going from Norwegian to Ryan and EZY to BA and so on. In the states the major 4 airlines stands for 80% of the market and here in Europe the 4 biggest groups stand for 30% of the market.

I have been in Norwegian for almost 5 years now and I if I walked in to our biggest base just before the morning or evening wave and asked a show of hands with regards to whom was EX-RYR I would have a hard time finding someone who was not. I only know of one guy personally who left to go back to RYR, and that was for the base only. Plenty of people commute and spend time away from family even though they have a Ryanair base in their local neighborhood. They simply don't see RYR as an option as most of them have already been burnt once...

With regards to consolidation I guess only time will tell... It seems like anything is possible these days.
