While I've not seen data to support my position, I'll guess that wouldn't solve much, if anything.

Not everyone stayed to 60 when 60 was mandatory.

Not everyone is staying to 65 now that 65 is mandatory.

If it's bumped up to 67, even fewer will stay and likely for more than one reason. Some will just have had enough before 67 and failing medicals will account for greater numbers.

If anyone has data on this, I'd love to see it.

That may change at BA following the pension pot limits brought in by the UK government. Some of the Prestwick cadets are getting towards sixty and after 30 plus years the incentive to stay may be reducing. I know a few who have suggested that. Of course with reduced pension maybe part time is the answer.
