Russia jobs for expats
Hey guys this could be a wrong thread to ask this but i really wanted to know how is the expat market in russia at the moment because i have been doing a lot of online research talking to aviation colleagues and havent been able to get in touch with any of the recruiters (Aeroflot,Ural,Vim air,etc).

Expat market russia

At the moment the market is slowly recovering from stagnation. There is no opportunities for foreign FOs, but several companies would be glad to hire experienced captain, typed on 737NG or A320. The problem is, that they offer something like 5000$ net per month for 90 hours and awfhul roster. And the reason, why they hire, is the fact that Russian captains are leaving for China or Middle East. So if you are a rated captain, mother Russia will welcome you.

Thats true but as i was going through a couple of posts here it seems russia is a far better country to fly than China only the communication could be one limitation otherwise money roster and other aspects of flying are pretty decent.

Let me think real hard. Xiamen Air on B737 with options like three weeks on, three weeks off and still double the money rather than Moscow with hardly any reasonable commute, in the russian winter? Hmmm...
