If you want to reminisce try Wizzair, they pay the same salary as you got 30 years ago with no pension and the worst leave system on the planet.

I presume the question was about a320 jobs that are actually available to DEC? If that was the case then Easyjet probably best gig in Europe unless you can manage getting a good ACJ gig.

As far as I can tell Wizz, Germania, Eurowings and the other loco 320 operators basically means doing the same job as an Easyjet pilot but for half the money.

Probably executive (ACJ - various operator)

pros:

14 on/off
16 000 € net
flexible home base (close to int. AP)
in average 20 days at home

cons:

you need 2000 hours on A320
flexible - need to fly on off days
up to 12 days away from home

Narrow runway, sounds exactly like Titan to me.

A neighbour of mine has just got a permanent contract with them. He's happy but did get a bit fed up with being away for most of the summer working for EZY.

I understand Titan have lost the EZY contract to SmartLynx.

There's not even a hint of an AOC yet for Cobalt Air. Pie in the sky at the moment, I feel. Some good backing, but the Cyprus DCA are not exactly known for expediting AOC's. I don't even think that the other new Cypriot start-up (TUS Air) have operated a revenue flight as of yet.

If it does happen, there are plenty of local ex Cyprus Airways guys available as not everybody wanted to move to the sandpit.

Cobalt Air is here and it?s hiring - Cyprus
