Type of airline (name if you’re brave!): LCC SE Asia
Base country: SIN
Hours per month (average): 80-90
Monthly salary (before tax): $8000USD
Monthly salary (after tax): $5500 USD
Additional payments: Meal Allowance every shift, Layover Allowance, Extra payment for voluntary additional higher hour flying roster every month (equals approx another $5000USD/yr on base salary)
Any benefits?: LoL, staff travel/ID90 with QF, EK & ONEworld, union protection, sick leave, EFB iPad provided (no paper charts!), superannuation, guaranteed 9 days off/month, usually more.
Happy (yes/no): No, treated like ****, worked hard, often fatigued, safety last priority! Airline run by finance department, top-shots have no idea what goes on down the line...just living the dream!

Monthly salary (after tax): $13600
Additional payments: End of service bonus, occasional annual bonus.
Any benefits?: Housing and utilities paid by company, LOL, salary always paid on time, excellent staff travel, medical insurance.
Happy (yes/no): Not really but the money helps.
