Wizzair
Hey man, online video interview was pretty much easy, they asked few questions about yourself, your life experience, technical questions that they asked me were
What are the effect of flaps on take off ground run
What is tropopause
How many type of drag i know
(there were other 2 questions but I don't remember them, but were so easy)
Than the real interview at Budapest, we were in 10 people, they started from companies presentation their future plans, how many planes are coming, new routes and all that stuff, and than the ATPL part 😭😭😭were not easy at all, I got atleast 12 math questions few were easy few were tough, than questions about runway lights, drag, who is COO of wizz air, few Navigation chart a guy behind me had 10 of those FLIGHT PLANNING chart, what is grid mora in this altitude, except math questions all other were easy if yu r prepared on TECHNICAL INTERVIEW BOOK, than we had group excersice, they di divided us in 2 groups but with same exercise, planes are taking off one have green tail pane carrying cacao, one red tail plane carrying rice another going from Brazil to Manila, other departing at 8 o'clock from Hamburg carrying rice, another flying from Paris to Geneva at 7 o'clock carrying caccao, our task were which plane is going to Madrid and which one is carrying tea, we didn't find anything, but they don't care about that, what they want to see is CRM in between the group, unfortunately I didn't pass the interview
Good luck mate, and study atpl questions hard.. 😊

Good on you for replying in here despite not passing the interview and of not being negative about it. Your type of attitude speak volumes about you - likely the company missed an opportunity to get a solid candidate - their loss. It seems some of these East European companies focuses more on ATP questions and other theoritical areas more than who the individual is - his attitudes, priorities, motivations etc. Most of the ATP and theory is what it is - itīs not going to make you a solid pilot at the end of the day.
PilotSingh84, as I have not talked to you, I cannot comment anything about your preparation. I wish you better luck next time you are invited. Blessing in disguise: you will know what kind of questions to expect. When invited again, make sure you know your aircraft, your WX limitations, and what is the definition of the critical engine.

During ground training (from day 1 until day before your 1st line training flight), your salary will be 4000 euros, flat rate.
During line training (until line check), your salary will be normal full salary (base salary + flight allowances), without any deductions yet.
After line check, you will start getting the deductions to cover training costs

If you already have a 320 rating it's higher.
The others telling you it's wrong obviously didn't read all the details in your question, or are misinformed...

Wizz Air, August 2019
Hello everybody,
attended this year in August in Budapest - all of the recruitment team are very friendly and pretty straight forward. Salary is definitely an issue, some guys got directly up and left the room (2.000 gross a month for the fasttrack upgrade).
I got a positive answer for starting beginning of next year.
Main focus in the sim (I am A320 rated): raw data departure, intercepting of radials (Vor Tracker application is quite useful) and during the interception an engine failure, leading to a single engine ILS approach - manageable.
Knowledge test is related to basic ATPL questions - get your old ATPL books for e.g. EASA operational procedures and principles of flight - I recommend from Grossrubatscher the Pilots reference guide and from Fasttrack Atpl (an app) the section with the Wizz Air ATPL questions/ questionbank - they cover all content which you basically should know anyway.
Try to be relaxed and enjoy the assessment, nice chance for you to prove your skills - flying and technical wise - while preparing it was a nice refresher in every way.
Fingers crossed folks!

Non EU cadet information
So I am a Ukrainian and I want to join as a cadet FO. Will I be based only in Ukraine ? Or can I be placed in the EU and the wizz can facilitate a visa.
Redundant as I am a national but I haven't lived in Ukraine for over a decade.
Thanks

Hi gents: Just an update from a recent assessment. Very straight forward. Friendly team - nevertheless I didn't have this 'warm welcome' feeling. You get the feeling that they don't really need you at this moment due the market situation.
Some infos about the ATPL/Wizzair related Quiz: as already previous described. A big variatiy of topics. Mainly involving the topics of performance, GNAV, MET and OPS. I used skybrary and the fasttrack atpl app (specific for the wizzair test). Furthermore I used the ACE book.
Interview: questiosn about motivation, avition background, family, technical questions (CDL; MEL; High lift devices)
SIM: Raw Data depature, steep turns, intercept radial - engine high vibration - leading to single engine and single engine approach.
Even if passed I wouldnt take the job due to the new terms. For SFO going for command its actually pay to fly when you initially get 2000 Euro gross.
