Ref windcheck, either he is actually one of the P2F guys as he was in the Ryanair recruitment process in 2009 and keen to join and don't you need around 30K for type rating...or he is so rubbish he can't even get a P2F job so he's very bitter.

TT is TT no?
They wouldn't put it there otherwise
• B737-300 to 900 (NG/EFIS) endorsed within the last 24 months
• At least 1,500 hours total flying time
• At least 500 hours on B737-300 to 900 (NG/EFIS) type aircraft

I can't imagine they will have any kind of shortage of applicants meeting the given minima, so I would expect a PFO, or even to have your application moved into the blacklist of those who cannot follow basic instructions (not an ideal personal trait as far as airlines are concerned)

How strict is fz about the 1500 hrs tt requirement if one is type rated on the ng with 500 hrs+ but not having the 1500 TT

Then Flydubai is really strict on TT and on your previous experience Company and prefer more hours on NG than 500.

The blacklist? Really?
Maybe if the job was looking for a rare mix of skills and experience and you are a little short then it would be worth a punt. But I think we can agree that they will be flooded with 'suitable' applicants in this case.

"Flooded" ?
well, if the reaction of some of my ex Ryanair colleagues is anything to go by. . . . many joined, but an equal number didn't hang around too many years.
Dangerous destinations/night-stops. Long night-flights / Certain passenger groups that make Ryanair pax seem sophisticated/Nasty back-stabbing UK management style. . . . . Good Luck

The reaction of "some" ex FR colleagues Captplaystation, not "all". There are several ex-FR here, I for one enjoy the flying and we get treated far better than FR (In my opinion of course), each to there own I suppose.
I believe its all about the ATPL, B-737, for which 1500 will be required....as already stated
