I think replacement unless Monarch really want to have a go at beating EZY, FR and NAS but either way, they won't be needing 737 flight crew for at least 4 years (add another 1-2 years for delays).

Is it not just a LOI (Letter of Intent) at the moment and therefore no firm order? All part of a game to get other tenders for A320neo and C Series. This "aircraft order announcement" was supposed to be 3+ years ago.
