Recent advert for VVIP B787 job as advertised by Contract Air requirements being current on B787 and 1500 PIC on type!!!

Well, as the type rating reads B777/B787 it is possible to have time on type, just not on the right variant. Although a few might have that already, just doubt they want to switch (except those norwegian guys of course).

It brings to mind when decades ago , I was a professional engineer.
Job advert for oil company in Saudi...........wanted petro chem eng....... minimum good degree.... under 25yrs old ...... minimum 10 years experience in field an absolute requirement. !!!!!

I doubt they do 1500 hours in 6 months, even in India.
