THE CHINESE WAY is UNIC

I was looking for some infos and i got those 2 fantastic mails from UNIC agency, which made me laughing and wondering...

Below the first email after my initial email:

Dear Captain DUDE,

Please accept my apologize for the late reply firstly. Due to many candidates hunting for jobs in airlines, we are busy these days. I'm sorry for the late reply.

Thank you for your interesting in our job advertisement, this is Karen, a new employee in charge of application collecting from Unic(www.unicaviation.com), I graduated from Civil Aviation University of China. I am assure that my educational background will provide the best service for you and our agent would provide the correct job for you.

Unic Aviation is founded by Chinese aviation professionals, with closest relationship with Chinese Airlines and best understanding of Chinese Aviation. We provide extraordinary personnel consultation and complete local service, as your best partner for flying in China.

We have two advantages than other brokers:1. working experience especially in pilots recruit in China, Chinese airlines prefer to cooperate with local agent. 2.good relationship with CAAC, medical center, simulator center and most airlines than other expat brokers, due to my experience.

The only best choice to guarantee your screening go smoothly and successful is Unic Aviation in China.

Regarding your email, we could not see more details on your personal resume, could you please fill the application form attached, then I would recommended the job opportunity concerning your own situation. And give you more details on the job position and contract.

For a better service for you,could you please tell me more your require on the jobs like;

The vacation, salary, work environment, living city, and so on? I would give you the best and correct choice for you.

It is very important to make the decision before you come for screening, or it is hard to change to the other airlines, if you have some disappoint or upset on the airlines in China after screening.

The documents need complete:

Best Regards,
Karen ......

Waouw......

Well i took me a while to complete the required forms and all the documents required, only to get this answer from the same person:

Dear Captain DUDE,

I have read your application form carefully, I’m sorry that there is no chance of CCQ B747- A330 in China for the moment.

And now you only have B747 ATPL license, sorry there is no other suitable job for you.

Anyway thanks for your choosing unic aviation and your interests in our job ads.

Best Regards,

And now what?

I have only 15'000 hours total time, on B737-A320-B744...but still there is no job for me....I believe that i have to work harder....

Take care.

Just sharing.

They now have jsut taken your whole aviation career and identity to sell it to the highest bidder in India!!

When I got no answer from the agency I applied with, I emailed straight away saying there is a huge breach in security giving out confidential information with no email of receipt.

I soon got an email back apologising for this and what seemed to be at the time, extra time spent on my application and getting the applied job.

Guess this may be the way forward.

Avoid Brookfield UNIC and PAramount. Many complains.

Thanks for the inputs and help offered.

I was particulary impressed by the in-depth presentation as compared by the shortness of the reply.

Cheers.

Anyone with UNIC?

Applied to a job with Hainan Airlines. Got the advantage that I am currently A330 rated.
UNIC is absolutely new to me... never heard of this company before I applied. Application forms are currently processed...
Seriously wonder whether I should continue going this UNIC way. Anybody knows anybody who is hired though this company?
Cheers

I would recommend going with western agencies rather than Chinese because the Chinese agencies seem totally unable to offer the insurances which most of us require like medical and loss of license etc. I think, of the agencies which contract guys working with me- PARC seems to be the best....

WASINC has been pretty square too. They've seemed to be more proactive than VOR Holdings of late.
