Check out how many foreigners they actually have on the 777 before you commit to an interview. As of a few months ago that would be zero, except for the two Boeing guys.
Air China's the 330 and 777 fleet management have differing agendas. There are many foreigners on the Airbus and if you can pass the medical and apply yourself most will pass.
I'm told that over 30 Captains have been interviewed for the 777 and so far only one has passed the Simulator assessment. You can draw your own conclusions.
