I applied for a position with the AAIB recently. I easily meet the requirements they were looking for min 5000 hrs ATPL, command experience fixed and rotary plus management. Got PFO letter at the first stage. Did anyone else fare any better?

Tried for the CAA many moons ago - same response which was puzzling as knew a guy who had very few qualifications when he was accepted. Month later on a BA jump seat reciting my thank you but no thank you letter - skipper said you P**t..don't you know you have to be on the square!
