Air Atlanta stay away!!!

AAI or Air Atlanta is a cone and the Icelantics treat you like dirt!! Its a culture of union Icelantics and non-union contractors. They take all the good trips and they think they are pro's but do not talk to you in English on the flight deck, so you do not know what is going on. Dangerous to me! Airborne does not want to hear you say you work for Air Atlanta or even them as you are a "contractor" as HMRC would have a field day with them even though they are 100% owned by Air Atlanta and they are based out of Guersey for your contract. They will terminate you at a whim and then put you on a different more less contract. You have no rights there, so if you need time still don't go! They can harge 30,000USD for a type rating which is outrageous. You can get one in MIA in 10 days for 10,000 what a rip off!! But, they say we offer employement. Ya, for about 6 months and then they say that the Hajj is over and slow down in flights and they have to cater to the Icelandic union pilots who get 3 weeks on pay and 3 weeks off pay, but contractor's do not get paid for time off!!! So, you are looking at maybe 8 months of work if lucky. There have been guys never called back and others off for 4 to 5 months!!! The Icelantic guys think this is fine and they treat you terribly. They are are an inbreed nightmare!!
Just stay away and if you are bent on aviation then go somewhere else, but would suggest another career all together.

Interview Airborne/ Air Atlanta

I've got an interview coming up with Airborne Personnel/AAI for the 747 course. I have only been provided with limited information on the contract so I'm going along with an open mind to find out more.

It's held near LGW as is the sim assessment. Any heads up on what the interview is like? Many tech questions?

Thanks
