Why the title "Terms and Endearment?"

For many months I have hesitated to ask this question lest I make a real twit of myself for not seeing the obvious. But in the end I give up. Why the title because I am buggered if I know the answer.

Play on words on "terms of endearment" I would hazard.


Well, it does in fact deal with "terms" ( T's& C's) and whether you like it = endearment
