Small planet Airlines assesment

Hi all,
I have been invited for assesment next week with Small Planet Airlines next week.

I was hoping that anyone who has recently been through asssesment or anybody who was assesed last year good give me a few pointers on what to expect all I have been told is to expect an ATPL style quizz (ATPL knowledge not great after 4 years since exam) psychological test and interview with chief pilot and sim assesment at Baltic Aviation academy.

Also does anybody have accurate information regarding pay and roster who has worked for them I hear pay is quite low....? the base will be either MAN or LGW for the summer.

Thank you in advance.

Anyone attending the assessment have any details about the contract? Can I ask:

1. when the planned courses are due to start?
2. is HOTAC provided for captains in the UK?

You'll make more money working at your local Banana Republic branch. And they will make your life less a misery.

Stay away from this "airline" unless your choice breaks down into two options : 1/ Small Planet 2/ beggar in downtown Liverpool.

No one goes to SPA for the money.

They're a decent bunch and the flying is fun, unlikely you'll get the same buzz from Banana Republic (or any other clothing retailer I guess)

2 a/c in the UK flying a varied and interesting route network from LGW, MAN and the regions (EXT,ABZ,HUY,NWI and others)

I think this is to much trouble for a 3 or 4 months contract based in UK on a 4000 euros per month tax Free. The flying can be fun but, sincerely, it's a no go on those terms.

Happy landings to all.

Assessments

Hi Fly4fun, can I ask if the assessment you have was on the 737? I have an assessment on the 28th June. Also, any more feedback would be great.

Cheers

Advert on Flightdeckrecruitment.com

Just seen an intriguing ad. on Flightcrewrecruitment.com.......B737NG/Classic urgently needed for VNO / MAN / MXP. Anyone know anything about this one, looking at SPA it might be them, but I can find no other ref to it on the net. Or is the Flightdeckrecruitment ste a bit of a con, in order to see all details of an advert you have to pay a subscription fee.

Think you answered your own question there, with that combination of bases I would say 100% sure it's them.

They already recruited constantly from Feb till now. If you look at the size of their fleet you might be tempted to ask. . .why ?. . . probably you could guess the answer.
