Virgin Atlantic Cabin Crew Pay and Allowances
Wonder whether anyone at VS can help on the following question re pay and allowances. I understand that allowances are paid onto a travelex card? Is this all allowances? and if so do you also get a statement so that you can make sure it has been paid correctly. How is the total package made up? Basic obviously Plus? flight pay? Plus allowances? I know amounts will vary depending on route and would not in a public forum want specific amounts anyway but any guidance that can be given as to how Virgin cabin crew remuneration is made up would be greatly appreciated Thanks VFTG

The following applies to any VAA flying staff:
Is this all allowances? YES
and if so do you also get a statement so that you can make sure it has been paid correctly. YES
How is the total package made up? Basic obviously Plus? flight pay? Plus allowances? For CC YES to all that, plus bits for working crew down and flogging duty free
Pilots get Basic+so much per hour+allowances (same as CC!)+overtime if applicable (for over 85/month or over 760/year)
