Cityjet redundancies?

Pilot Career Centre currently contains a reference to pilot redundancies at Cityjet.
CityJet - PILOT CAREER CENTRE

Can anyone confirm if this is correct?

How coincidental! Got my "...Thanks-for-applying-with-us-your-CV-is-on-file..." email from CJ today!!! Irish carriers and french inland revenue love each other...

Never mind...

Sorry to see anyone losing their jobs, but it was indeed a bit hypocritical that City Jet could continue playing the "But we are Irish" card, following the French courts deliberations over Ryanair/Easy Jet in identical circumstances.

This is very sad news with potentially BMI / BMI Baby and now CityJet, aviation in Europe is only going one way. How many pilots in CityJet will this involve? and good luck to all concerned.

Very sad news. Thoughts to all those involved. Presumably routes are going to be cut too then?

So what are the expectations for crew, on both F50 and Avro? Any new pilots trained?

Can someone give a few more details of how this is working, as some of my friends have left their current employment to join CityJet as cabin crew. Are the redundancies going to be exclusively those based in CDG?

Dit,

The redundancies are/were voluntary. It was taken by crews and staff throughout all bases.
