Air Pacific roster and commuting

Air Pacific has hired some crews (myself included), and I was wondering how the roster works out for commuters? I'll be buying tickets home from my LAX domicile, so I'll need off day blocks to be as long as possible, and have as much notice as possible to minimize airfare costs. I know I'm asking for a lot. Also, if you have any other advice, please feel free to share. You can pm me if you'd like since it seems AP pilots are shy about posting. Thanks for any help.

rosters

Left airpac in 2005 but then the rosters were roughly 10 days work followed by 4 days off. Hope this helps.

Now it's more like 20 days work, followed by 8 or 9 off.
