I can highly recommend Horizon Flight Training at Gatwick. Great service before and after my LPC.

Hi everyone! I've got the same question, but for TRTO somewhere in Europe. I don't have NG experience so I prefer to have an option to combine the LPC with a difference course. 737EFIS simulator could be considered as well.

Is this for the job via Aeroprofessional?

I can't believe that the company that is recruiting isn't going to do a base check before the pilots go on the line. Are they even allowed to do that?

I know few pilots who done same throughout TRTO Proaviator. And they payed definitely less money. Sim was either in France or UK.

Hi all,

Ballpark figure for a B737NG LPC near LHR or LGW would be appreciated!

hello there.

Proaviator charges 1100 Euros in PRG on NG,
Baltic Aviation Academy charges 720 Euros on EFIS in VNO (which is good enough to renew the NG rating) or 1520 Euros in BRU, AMS oder PRG.

all prices bove current.

I believe Air Baltic Training charges 1000 Euros for the EFIS in RIX.

no, this is not for Aeroprofessional, as Carpatair will renew your rating at their cost. But, Firestorm, take a look at what a base check is, it is definitely not part of a renewal, nor are companies required to do this. Most companies however have to do an OPC or PPC, depending which part of the world, some do an LPC, some cannot.

good luck!

Another question if you don't mind...

I am an experienced captain but I have not flown for three years and my last LPC has expired.

How many hours should I anticipate in the sim for the LPC (together with a bit of practice beforehand) do you think?

All views gratefully received!

Shaman . For every year you have let the rating lapse you need to cover 20% of the type rating requirements. In your case at 3 years the authority could reasonably expect you to do 60 % of the type rating prior to an LPC . After 5 years a complete new type rating is required .
