Pilots who out of self interest or feel a need to place company interest first by not documenting discrepancies at stations not manned by company maintenance. You are doing an illegal action and are hurting the trade of the AME/AMT's that support our industry.
Think of the legal consequence of an obvious pre departure DIS before flight if reported by maintenance to your CAA.
Call it a rant if you wish. I suppose the only solution is action placed by people like myself. Possibly needs to be entered into the "mechanics creed" as we have been taking this crap for decades allowing for small outstations to be on call by contract MX as opposed to be stationed and equipped properly.
