Hi Airnando, fair question.
Seems nobody is interested! No mention of anything on Parc's website either.
I think there was some mention of this on another Easyjet thread a few weeks ago but can't remember what it was.
Good luck anyway!

I have applied although I am short of the hours they want.
The advertisment says
" Preference Roster with lifestyle preference bidding (enhanced FRV)". Does any body know what that is.
It sounds good.

It means a random roster of no pattern at all. You will have days off peppered through your month, you will switch from earlies to lates and you will not be able to predict next month until the 17th of this month.
It is a roster considered so much poorer than than the regular roster, that eJ offered us £10,000 extra to do it for just 3 months recently.
You will also be paid significantly less than anyone else at eJ in Europe. The reason we are recruiting is that no one internal will touch it.

Preference. What you would like, not necessarily what you will get. It's like saying, yes I will try to accommodate what you want, but what I want always takes priority. It does sound good, but so do lots of things. This preferential bidding system is not up and running anywhere else in easyJet but I believe its setup is being discussed. Be wary of putting faith in something that is not even in operation yet!
Just out of interest, has anyone seen the f/o pay scales?

Hi all,
With all this fuss about the Lisbon contract at easyjet is anyone able to talk with me something about actual numbers?
What is the take-home package for a Madrid-based CPT and FO?
And what are they offering for the portuguese contract?
What about the rostering differences? Can anyone help me understanding it?
I guess it is all about them knowing that TAP pilots are paied below european average and offering something close to it to the guys the want in Lisbon...
Cheers.

Jeez! Are you a Lemming?
Airnando is new here and, not unreasonably, thought it was a place where he might get answers to questions.
If an agency description of T&Cs is misleading then that's good to know.
What contribution have you made to this thread exactly?

Odlix,
Knowing how much TAP pilots are paid I find it hard to believe EZY are offering less than that to captains... Are you sure about it? Are they managing to find skippers paying less than 6000€ per month and offering less than 10 days off per month and less than 42 days of annual leave?
Thanks for the clarification.
Regards.

Pin Head,
There are over 120 F/Os on the command waiting list as of 21/11/11. plus quite a few more going through development flights and assessment.
I don't think there were many takers for the LIS base because of the temporary contract and poor pay and conditions, which is why they are after DECs for these posts. By having different contracts all over europe and using contractors, it allows them to divide and conquer, making us more like ryanair, reducing BALPAs influence and driving down crew costs at the same time as pretending to magic us happy with "merlin" project. (Sorry for negative attitude)
