Question Staff travel "priviledges"??

Just wondering what other airlines offer their staff in the way of staff travel???. Our has been screwing with ours recently and has a lot of the guys really disgruntled esp those who commute to work. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Do your company offer a commuting roster?

Sounds a bit like a chicken and egg situation, which came first, colleagues who screwed up getting back to work on time or a management that don't really approve of commuting?

Sorry, not taking sides at all, I've worked for both types of employer, those that offer a great staff travel scheme and those who think they are giving you the clothes off their back. If the company don't offer a proper commuting roster scheme then life can be a bit of a bugger, usually means that for some reason or other they don't approve of commuting.

Presently we get unlimited ID90 or Z - Tickets. Previously I had a commutable roster with four "free tickets" per amnum and unlimited Z- fares over the year for myself.

The service is great, you can get a staff travel ticket within 15 minutes if you are in a hurry to escape.

Commuting to work is for the birds . . .

I'm so glad that I've already been everywhere I wanted to be and more; so that I don't need to be travelling before, after, or between rostered flights.

We get unlimited ID90 subload tickets on our airline, ID75 on others within the alliance, ID50 firm domestic, and ID25 firm intl. We do get 1 ID100 non-subload (doesn't mean confirmed) dom after 5 yrs 1 ID100 intl (same deal) after 10yrs. All these fares are also subject to FBT/taxes/surcharges which incr the cost over the true %.
Trouble with subload is they've just released subload fares to the public who have boarding priority so not worth a damn.
