Talking AirAsia recruiting in the UK

Heard AirAsia will be coming to the UK for their World Tour Recruitment Road Show starting in Gatwick and then Stansted sometime soon.

Humvee would you know the most current AA T&Cs for A320
DEC captain at all please? I am contemplating moving down
there as I have had just about enough of bloody China. I also
understand only the monthly base pay is taxed and not the
allowances.

Can you confirm it will be KLIA basing?

Thanks with appreciation.

The terms are pretty good for Malaysian cost of living. Base or Hubs as they call it is subject to manpower requirement. KLIA being the major hub that requires most manpower but other hubs such as Penang, Kinabalu and Kuching may also be available when situation requires it. KL is the most hectic of them all, the smaller hubs seems to suit calm, easy, resort lifestyle.

Taxation applies to basic salary only and all allowances are currently not taxable thus making the money in the bank pretty good. On top of that the Providemt fund (EPF) contribution of 12 % additionally by the company every month on total package is savings that you don't take notice of.

The cost of living index for Malaysia is something that most people don't take into consideration. Malaysia is still considered cheap in most cases.

11th September at Hilton Gatwick and 13th September at Raddisson Blu Stansted. But if you are in the east, you might want to just come down to KL. Online application is required: AirAsia - Careers

Is it open to expats? For the pass few years the government has stopped the hiring of expats. If its open to expats, its a good job no night stops, i heard in the pass money is 10k usd per month.. which is a lot of money in Malaysia.

This would give MAS a run for its money, as MAS is recruiting expats. With low low salary.
