The whole set-up in India is in a spin , AI struggling to pay staff , now Kingfisher , Jet Airways website now offering 3 year contracts to expats with the assurance that government approval has been granted to employ expats until Dec 2013 ! By my simple calculation , that is 2 years and 4 months away , so are they going to pay out the 8 months remaining on your contract , or do the same as a few years ago and just tell the expats things were bad and they have to leave town ? ( I fly with 2 copilots who were victims of this 'procedure' ).
