Contractors for India

Considering applying to either Indigo or Kingfisher. There are many contractors out there all pretty much offering the same thing, does anyone have any thoughts on which contractor to go with? Any preferences on which airline? Thanks.

Considering the current shortage of experienced crews the contracts being offered are rather poor when everything is taken into account but if you have bills to pay it leaves you with little choice. It can only get better

Contractor

After reading the Thread about incredible India I believe you wont need a Contractor anymore. Stay away is the message, same as for KAL, after you feel the pain you know it. Donīt be foolish like a Child who learns by pain that fire is hot......Listen to your Colleagues who where there and went thru the process. The small details in between are not mentioned here.... there is more then written.

The only thing you will miss is the Gentīs Bathroom in the DGCA Building in Dheli. After looking into it with open eyes and closed nose you will remember what you have seen and see what incredible condition the People there cope with, daily. As a Visitor you do that maximum twice yearly.....

Fly safe and land happy

You can go the airlines directly for job information. The airlines prefer direct contact from the prospective employee as no fees are paid.

A major stumbling block in India now is that one must submit to a medical conducted by the Indian Air Force Medical Group. There was a fairly high failure rate early in February, but now it appears more are making it through without major issues, other than the typical recommendation to lose weight are reduce cholestorol.

If you are going for the Airbus, you may wish to consider Indigo rather than Kingfisher. Indigo appears to be the lesser of two evils.

Flying can be an adventure, and pretty good too.
