IOS Skybus
Just wondered whether anyone had any experience working for IOS Skybus. It is the type of thing I would like to do once I have finished training and would be interested to hear what the company is like to work for and what they look for in applicants.
Do they accept low hours fATPL''s?
Regards

Alot of the pilots at Skybus start out by first doing a season on the scenic flight operation on the Reims Rocket or / and instructors for the flying school at Lands End before moving on to the Otter.
A local address is also a big help.
Believe they tend to look for at least over 500 hours total time, so 250 hour fATPL generally not considered.

Real ‘steam driven’ experience is a must, ‘glass flying’ is not that transferable so I hear.
Really great bunch and fantastic flying. You will have to earn the ‘Otters’ respect and then try too keep her happy.
