Contract in Mongolia
What do you think a reasonable captain salary would be to ask in USD for a 2yr contract flying a Saab340?
They say transport and accomodation is provided, so lets assume they are reasonable.
I currently fly this type in the UK for £50k pa.(around $75K USD).
So how much more do you think its reasonable to ask for, for the inconveniece of being there?

What are you worth?
CP should get at least $8000/mo. (better if you could get Euro 8000) AFTER Mongo income tax (if applicable). Assume you are alone i.e. no family?
Doubt you get more then $20/day in Per Diems per duty day as that area is fairly cheap.
Don't get suckered into any sort of Bonus the end of 2 years!
Transport To/From Domicile to Airport for all flights, training, etc.
Accom. should be European/North American airlines standard (heating, aircon, quiet, etc) and not some 2 Star place as in Asian (International Airlines Standard) contracts right next to the runway someplace.
Confirmed Biz. Class ticket at the end and beginning of Contract from the closest Airport to your home plus 1 ticket each year. (if you have to, settle for Eco).
Internet provided at your Accom.
Vacation min. 30 days per year.
Sick days min. 10 per year.
They pay for entry/exit and Residence VISA's, Permits, Security checks, Medicals, Validations, Sim and Ground Schools.
Uniform provided.
A proper and confirmable liability insurance when you are flying.
Good luck!
