Hmm Hmm..

I'm working in OZ as a CAP of A320..
Are you plannig to apply for 744?
Maybe I can give you several simple answer.
Asiana is not bad at all, as a expact pilot..
Sim is quite reasonable, Seoul is pretty westernized..
Don't know about the salary..But not bad option ..
Also you can request free ticket for returnnig to your home including
your intimate familly..I think..
They have a lot of regular flight to US & Europe..
But as a Korean .. I leave this company next month , heading to China..
Isn't it funny? kk
Anyway if you want enjoy your life with less stress..Yes..OZ is the good
option..

Thanks hanfly for the reply.

I am interested in the B747-4. I have since found out that they pay about US $12,700 and provide apartments in Seoul.
If you don't mind my asking, what are the reasons for your leaving Asiana..?

Thanks again,

c8oz,
...big word.."enantiosis"

Sounds like you know a lot about Asiana, albeit may have been some time ago.
Would you be able to explain further?
Do you still have friends there, and would you know their current take on Asiana, esp on B747-4 ?

News of lawsuit against KAL regards expats, has made Asiana a serious alternative choice.

BRITS not welcome?

Just applied to Asiana via RAL, to be told Brits are not welcome due to 'taxation' issues???

Can anyone confirm this?

AirbusBoeing2,

Thanks for the offer to help. I have a few questions.

1. Any news of when the next intake for PIC B747-4 will be ?
2. Is the Airline expat friendly ?
3. Do the Asiana Korean pilots agree with KAL local pilots regards to views toward expatriates ? (KAL local pilots are suing KAL for employing expats).
4. Do you reccomend expats apply for Asiana ?

How can I contact you directly.....

Regards and thanks for the help.
