I went through the process 3 years ago but it may well have changed since. For what it's worth, I had a ~45 minute interview with the 737 Chief Pilot, the Pilot Manager (I think) who has since left and someone from HR. There were no technical questions, just the normal tell us about yourself and why do you want to join us.

The Sim assessment was with CTC on a 737-400. It was the usual profile of SID, general handling, STAR and ILS as both PF and PNF.

Hopefully someone else has more up-to-date info for you....

Recently at the recruitment days the format has been document check, group exercise, interview of about 1 hour. Sim if deemed necessary is conducted at OAA Woodford on the 737 which is a 300.

I have been looking at the direct entry command non type rating positions.
Can anyone help they say 3000 hrs as captain and 1000 hrs heavy time.
I have 6000 total 4300 in command which includes 1800 P1S.
1450 heavy time command , 146 / E195 in command.
Does this qualify for direct entry command or FO direct entry.

Does anybody have a contact number to ring Jet2 direct to ask
befor I make any wrong application.

Thanks

SPDA1. I understand by Heavy the Company means aircraft of at least 60 Tons and above. The 146 and 195 are both under that weight. Never the less you dont lose anything by applying.
