777 I'm not sure how accurate that career's website is as it still shows the old MD? The bmibaby.com website states that applications should be in by Nov 30th and says nothing about all vacancies being filled.

The BMI Baby site now says -
First Officer positions
bmibaby has now finished First Officer recruitment selection for 2011. Our thanks to all of you who applied but due to the demand we will not be able to respond to everyone individually. Successful candidates will be informed by the end of December 2010.
Has anyone been contacted or asked to interview?

As the site says - they have recruited the numbers they want with the new 20 pilots being notified by the end of the month. They will be starting in the early Spring.

For some reason I had it in my head it was interview hopefuls will hear by the end of this month. Rereading their website, perhaps I'm wrong. Just odd no one has mentioned anything on here.

You haven't heard anything because the 20 new pilots are all cadets from Oxford, that was the plan anyway when my contract ended at the end of October.
Like Easy and FR they are now starting to go down the cadet route to save £!!
So unless anything changed after i left that will be why..
Cheers

Yeh people with previous experience with the company will return on 81%, there were 6 of us on contracts over the summer who were offered the first jobs to return. Anyone without previous history with the company will be a cadet, unless the game plan has changed since the end of October, i am not returning so haven't paid much attention since leaving.

Again that is not correct. Some new hire that are experienced are also being taken on - possibly some movement from BMIR as well. The cadet numbers are probably very low indeed.

Have heard from the horses mouth that interviews will be conducted early Jan with TR to commence as early as end of Jan. Cadets will have to pay for TR up front, but start the TR course with a signed permanent, albeit 81%, contract.
Possibly better than EZY or RYR where you're self-employed?

Does anyone know if Bmibaby are still recruiting? I didn't see any advert for non type rated positions so are these yet to be filled? Are the figures posted on PPJN accurate regards to TP cost? Thanks

Does anyone know how many sectors and hours a year a 100% contract baby pilot would do?
Also, how many 81% FOs are there already working at baby?
What is time to command in baby?

Any thoughts on how the growth at BHD over 2011/12 will affect the crew establishment?
Are crew being relocated from CWL and MAN or might there be some more recruitment?

Cloud Chaser, all bmibaby pilots affected by this decision will be offered rebasing to either EMA or BHX as there are no compulsory redundancies. If crew wish to be BHD based then this is being actively considered but will not be forced. Pilots not wishing to rebase/relocate will be offered redundancy as an alternative.
A significant level of pilot attrition is expected as all baby pilots in MAN or CWL are there because they want to be and therefore recruitment is likely over the coming months.
