Why are all the bliming adds the same. The ask for what they want but always fail to show you what you get in return, other than the aircraft you might be on. Imagine the same in a supermarket or when buying a house...

3. The brief working conditions for EVA MD-11/A330 F/O are as below:
(1) Salary under training will be USD4500 for type rated pilots and USD3500 for non type rated pilots. After check out on the line for type rated pilots pay will be 5500USD for the first two month and 6000USD for next 10 months USD 6100 for second year and 6200USD for the third year. There will be a 4000USD refund after the completion of two years service which is a bond for training.
(2) For the non type rated pilots the salary after line check out will be USD5000/M for the first 6 months and 6000USD/M for the next 6 months, then USD6100/M for the second year and 6200USD/M for the third years. There will be a 6500USD refund when you complete the first year service and second year service due to the training bond.
(3) You will have 8 consecutive days off per month and 18 days annual leave per 12 months. You may ask total 16 days off every two months.
(4) Pilots will be responsible for the Taiwan local TAX declaration due to individual condition and normally will be less than 20%
(5) The traveling benefits is same with EVA's staff one ID00 tickets every 12 months plus unlimited ID90 and ZED tickets and jump seat ride with uniform

It is not that much, is it??

Whilst little comfort but, as with all these things, you need to take into account the local cost of living. The cost of living in Taiwan for example is probably far, far less than say, London thus making the 'relative' wage somewhat more palatable and the disposable income similar.

So do I read this right? You don't get any pay untill completion of you final line check? What about expenses and rosters/lifestyle?
