Insurance question
As I understand it, a flight school insurance covers for engineering error, pilot error etc.
If a flight school decided to "self insure" would that leave staff such as quality manager, instructors, engineers etc more at risk of liability claims ?
IE normally one would make an injury claim on the school insurance, but if the school was not insured would it still be a claim against the school, or would there be a greater risk of claims against individual staff members ?
