It's about capacity. LH Flight Training has sims all over the country and as sim-time is a rare good these days, they have to plan check rides according to demand and already booked sessions.

While on the subject, I heard from many different sources that many pilots failed sim grading for a "political" reason. That is Lufthansa union does not want pilots to be hired by Lufthansa Italy for some reason, not sure if this is a temporary things or permanent.

Any most minor mistake will result in the sim fail.

Anyone knows more?
